What is Time Spent Up Late?
"Time Spent Up Late isn't based simply on what time you fall asleep. It's calculated by comparing when you actually fell asleep with the bedtime you've set.
For example:
Set bedtime: 12:00 AM
Actual sleep time: 1:30 AM
Time Spent Up Late: 1 hr 30 min" -
Why is there sometimes no data?
"If you fall asleep earlier than your set bedtime, you didn't stay up past your planned bedtime that day, so you'll see "Not Up Late."
If there isn't enough valid sleep data to determine when you fell asleep, you'll see "Not enough data."

What happens if you regularly stay up late?
"Staying up late once in a while is usually something your body can recover from with enough rest afterward.
But if you regularly go to sleep later than usual, it can disrupt your sleep rhythm and gradually cut into your total sleep time. This is especially true if you stay up late but still have to get up early. With less time to sleep, sleep loss can build up more easily.
So rather than worrying about the occasional late night, it's more useful to pay attention to whether staying up late is becoming part of your regular routine."

How can you cut back on staying up late?
"Keep your bedtime consistent
Try to fall asleep at around the same time each day and avoid frequent changes to your sleep schedule.Give yourself time to wind down
Try to wrap up work, gaming, or scrolling on your phone before bedtime so your body and mind have time to ease into rest.Don't rely on catch-up sleep instead of a regular schedule
Getting a little extra rest after an occasional late night can help, but relying on weekend catch-up sleep over the long term isn't a substitute for a consistent sleep schedule.Tracking how long you stay up late isn't about judging your bedtime. It's about helping you see how your sleep habits are changing."
